Charity Fundraising
What we do ...
In school we try to make our students aware of things outside of school and give you opportunities to support charities which either have a link with our students or staff for whatever reason, or those who support the local or national community.
See below for our House Charities for 2024-5
Our House Charities for this year
Clarendon House is supporting the RSPCA. We specialise in animal rescue & furthering the welfare cause for all animals. Animal welfare is everyone’s welfare. That’s why we’re putting society back at the heart of the RSPCA. We’re rallying humanity to create a better world for all. We know we can’t do it alone. But we can if we work together, everyone for every animal.
Longford House is supporting South West Mencap which supports people with learning disabilities; inspiring them to achieve their full potential and enabling them and their families to lead fuller lives.
Pembroke House is supporting Lover Baby BankThis charity believes that every child deserves the same start and by sharing items our families have outgrown we can support a circular economy in a focused and meaningful way. Our vision is that every child in our area has access to the esssential things that they need to develop and meet their potential
Radnor House is supporting Cancer Research UK. We fund scientists, doctors and nurses to help beat cancer sooner. We also provide cancer information to the public
Wick House is supporting The Wiltshire Air Ambulance, also like Breamore in memory of our former student Josh Davies. Wiltshire Air Ambulance Charitable Trust is a registered charity providing an essential Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) in Wiltshire, Bath and surrounding areas.
Prefects are linked to each Head of House to spearhead charity fundraising efforts. Everyone of us can find some way of supporting the House charities It may be a sponsored silence, a fitness challenge or something more wacky - we all have the chance to shine!
